As one of the largest live food suppliers in Australia the ARCade can always ensure your supply is kept up and your animals well fed. Our facilities are continually improved and upgraded and our processes refined to bring you the highest quality live foods on the market.
Our staff are biologists, scientists and animal husbandry experts who care about animals and who understand your needs. They are also our needs – as our live foods feed some of the most endangered species on earth at the ARC.
We know that our growing conditions effect the quality of your feed animals and we have invested over 20 years in development of our techniques to ensure all aspects of our production are managed to optimise health and nutrition of all live foods we grow.

Feeding up to 10,000 frogs at the ARC also makes us one of Australia’s biggest users of live foods. Since frogs eat nothing else we must ensure everything they need gets to them in their food insects. This is the perfect product testing as we are not just feeding frogs but breeding and growing Australia’s most endangered species for release to the wild. Our frogs need to be fit enough to survive the conditions they face in the wild – a much harder life than a comfy terrarium. We feel confident this proves our live foods have outperformed all other suppliers – who else can say their live foods produced animals fit enough to reverse extinction?
