Actions under Objective 2
Action 2.3: Expand knowledge of, and infrastructure for, captive breeding of amphibians, particularly with respect to species that are threatened or particularly vulnerable to chytridiomycosis.
Action 2.4: Coordinate captive breeding, captive husbandry and restocking programs across States and Territories to maximise effectiveness of activities and knowledge in producing high quality outcomes.
Action 2.5: Establish national guidelines to standardise techniques for, and approaches to, captive breeding, raising and restocking programs.
Action 2.8: Use cryopreservation for Australian amphibian species, with priority on threatened species, in such a manner as to allow cloning in the future or have gametes preserved to allow artificial breeding.
