•Action 1.14: Extend existing state quarantine and
handling protocols in
chytrid-free areas into a national protocol, potentially modelled on the "Hygiene
Protocol for the Control of Disease in Frogs" prepared and implemented by New South Wales Parks and Wildlife Service
and informed by research results from Action 3.18 and experience.
•Action 1.15: Ensure licences/permits for wildlife or
flora studies that
have the potential to transmit amphibian chytrid fungus into chytrid-free areas include
conditions that require the use of appropriate disinfection strategies between sites using techniques other than drying listed in
Table 3.
