Brief History
•In 1991 the Wet Tropic World Heritage
Management Agency called for applications for Scientific Research Projects that would
contribute to sound conservation management of the WHA.
•In 1991 and 1992 I applied for a grant
entitled, “The
cause of local extinction and population decline in the Day Frogs of the
Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. Reproductive biology and recruitment
in the sharp-snouted day frog”
