Biosecurity Australia receives many import requests. Those involving significant variation to established policy require an IRA.
Animal Biosecurity is currently conducting 24 IRAs and has about 45 access requests.
IRAs commence as resources become available.
We consult on:
–access requests and priority setting
–the approach, that is the scope of the IRA, an indicative timetable and the IRA team
