8All sites need to have standard precautions, not just chytrid sites
8field researchers/volunteers need to be aware of symptoms of all diseases
êalways collect if something is not quite right; document behaviour/clinical symptoms of live frog/tadpole and contact relevant experts
êalways collect intact dead specimens including toads
8NZ  DOC puts up signs at chytrid sites to tell visitors to politely ‘stay out’
ê maybe we need an Aussie version - if people were made aware that their recreational activities were spreading disease, they might choose other locations
