Chytrid conf 2004
Why should you care about chytrid in the suburbs?
8A widespread disease can wipe out frogs in the bush because there is no-one there constantly to monitor, collect, and treat them. 8Residents in the suburbs can control what happens on their properties; they find and turn in sick frogs as soon as they become ill - frogs which are treatable and recoverable. 8Some residents even breed bugs and provide antifungal baths (under our supervision) to ensure frogs on their properties will survive. 8Don’t dismiss frog survival in the suburbs - these people want to help and need guidance.
