here is one of a number of minute tadpoles rescued from my Louisiana Iris tub in the garden. It is the size of a small grain of rice, yet it would be at least five weeks old (I've been watching and feeding them). They are good eaters and fine swimmers, but they aren't growing rapidly like the other tadpoles are (Peron, Eastern Dwarf, GTF, Marsh etc). Any clues?
Do you have a question about anatomy, life cycle, taxonomy, or anything else that isn't covered by the other frogs.org.au projects? Ask them here (or provide an answer to other people's questions).
