Another frog ID please

hi everyone,

another frog from my garden. He looks a bit like a Marsh frog, but no spots and seems bigger. Hard to get a good photo as he is under grasses... seems so have poppy eyes. quite chunky.

what do you think?

I think it is a skinny Eastern Pobblebonk (Limnodynastes dumerilii insularis).

You could try feeding him, but it isn't much to worry about. Most frogs get skinny over winter. The cold slows their metabolism enough for them to go prolonged periods without food. Once it begins to get warmer, he will get fat again.

there are always insects around in the garden, what I can do is move one of the solar garden lights near his little area to attract the insects and hopefully he will get some... He sure is the sadest looking Pobblebonk

Yes is it a dumerilii, but yeah I wouldn't worry bout it being that skinny in winter, it should pick weight in spring.
