do you know what the moss is growing on the drift wood? It looks amazing, if not could you post a close up so I could try and work it out? Looking for a good moss that can be really moist

ok i've added some green now, had a choice of plants was thinking of a japanese aralia but i didnt get it because it would grow til 3 metres high but i could of just kept trimming it but i thought it would take to much effort lol.

So i stuck with a peace lily, maidenhair fern and a blushing bromeliad.

So here is my tank now.

Yep green and golden bell frogs ... just not very green with all the brown wood.
No snakes in NZ, it was a turtle enclosure many moons ago, then shelf went in and a young waterdragon for a while. Now frogs :)

yeh without the tank and light. all that inside the tank only cost me $100 to do, stole some branches off the tree out the back and washed them down with betadine.

maurice wrote:Hi All, this is my first post. So seeing as i've just finished my new viv i figured this would be the best place to start.

Everything in this viv is natural. Cork bark backgrounds, bush granite rocks, living substrate and all living plants.

The pond is circulated by a canister filter and houses zebra danios.

Hope you like.

Lachlan

Nice setup Lachlan! I really like it. Where did you get the cork from?
