SBTFs free to good homes

"...get frogs/tadpoles for my garden"; "find and catch a particular frog from the wild"; "release some frogs". A special forum where the answer is almost always "it is illegal (and not recommended)" but you can ask anyway.

SBTFs free to good homes

Postby Judy Watson » Mon Jan 16, 2017 2:12 pm

*I'm posting this here as well as the Trading Zone, because I was a bit confused by the fact that I was showing as the only post in the Trading Zone.*

I have 5 gorgeous, healthy Southern Brown Tree Frogs, morphed in December 2016 that are in need of new homes. These were tadpoles rescued from a plastic tank in a local hardware store and they turned out to be SBTFs. Due to the fact that it's illegal to release them to the wild, I'm guessing my only option, other than keeping them indefinitely, is to give them away as pets.

We are located in Frankston South. As I'm unable to drive at the moment due to a back injury :( , anyone interested in adopting will have to travel to me. Please reply via forum or email me. judydotthumbprintatgmail.com

Cheers, Judy

thanks Judy for posting in both - I had to delete everything in the trading forum as it was awash with spam!

Aah, thanks Chris. That explains it. I thought it was a bit odd. :-)

Hi Peterkroon73. Sorry for the very slow reply. I didn't get an email notification and missed your question. Yes, I still have five healthy frogs looking for a new home. At least one of them is now calling very sweetly in the late afternoons.

Here's Paton Yewbeam posing patiently for his photo, as I nearly drop my phone in the water..
