Help to identify sickness of Barking Marsh frogs in Adelaide

Postby neds81 » Wed Dec 23, 2015 10:34 pm

HI can anyone tell me what is wrong with the tadpoles in my backyard.

I am in adelaide, i have a big backyard pond that has always had barking marsh frogs in it since i moved into the place. There are quite a few tadpoles in the pond over the last few months but i have started seeing a few that seem to be sick.

They have tails that have gone white in colour and kind of wavy or broken apart. they still swim around but seem to float at odd angles.
