A big issue both in enclosures and in the wild.

I have just had a toad brought into me which was rescued following an attack by a crow. It is lively enough but has beak injuries to both eyes. One of the eyes is visible but not sure about the other. I think it is a mallee spadefoot toad but need this confirmed. I have bathed the injuries is cold rainwater only and have placed it in a vivarium with moist soil from my garden. I am located in Encounter bay on the Fleurieu Peninsular. Any help on care requirements and any further actions required would be much appreciated. Do I provide it with baby crickets which I can obtain tomorrow.
