Striped Marsh frog in need of help!!

Postby Litoria Alex » Sat Jan 19, 2013 11:26 am

It seems to be a bad time for my froggies! My 4 or 5 year old striped marsh frog Raya has a hard lump on one of his back legs. I had notice it a few weeks ago but didn't worry about it as it didn't seem to be worrying him. Yesterday or the day before I noticed that he has lost most movement in that leg! Eeek!! He also has had what looks like a skin shedding around him in the water that has been there since last night. Maybe the really hot weather had been getting to him but he wasn't looking stressed or anything in yesterday's 40 ish degree heat.
Does anyone have any experience/ideas/knowledge in this area? Please help!
The link is to a photo I just took and the leg on the right is the problem one.
He is able to move himself but movement is limited. The other two froggies in his tank seem unaffected.

Thanks,
Alex:)
