Postby skoota97 » Wed Aug 27, 2014 9:15 pm

Hey guys im 17 and want to give my 2southern brown tree frogs Ablett and Freddo,
the best they deserve im currently feeding them crickets. I was wondering do they need a uv light and do they need a bigger enclosure the one there in is about 40cm wide 30cm high and 30 deep my temperature is a constant 20 degrees and humidity sits at about 60% also what can i do to provide maximum comfort for these frogs :)

Hi, I have SBTFs also.

Your enclosure is big enough for 2 SBTFs.

Apparently UV light is better for them, but not more than UV 2.0. They have special globes like this for frogs at reptile shops.

I'm not too sure about humidity, but apparently they are tolerant of temperatures between 10 and 25 degrees - so 20 sounds ok unless someone more experienced can verify...

Crickets are fine, but maybe get some advice about calcium supplements.
