Thanks:) I thought the grubs would have been fine, I just didn't know if they had some sort of a toxen or something.
When I put them in, one of my frogs sat watching them bury themselves.
I'll have to dig em up again:)

I think they contain a lot of fat, so maybe only as a treat, once a fortnight ;)

Ok, yeah this is a rare treat!
I was hunting for slaters for my morphling and uncovered the grubs. They'll be a good winter food source, I think:)

Thanks, that's really good to know--winter is always stressful with my froggies because of a lack of food. (I buy crickets sometimes but they always disappear/die and i have an emergency mealworms supply which isnt an ideal frog food source)
So this winter I'll be digging up worms, slaters , woodies AND witchety grubs!
Do you feed yours crickets? If so, how do you keep them?
Thanks:)

Petstock near my house sells silkworms there is alot of calcium in them for your frogs but only treat them once a month.

Before frogs, I used to keep silkworms and they'd breed every year. It's a shame they all died off!
I might be able to source a few though.
