Frog Identification - Sout East Queensland

Postby Liberty » Sun May 31, 2015 4:06 pm

Can anyone help identify the species of these frogs - from South Stradbroke Island (South East QLD, coastal) almost 3 months ago.

Our guess is Eastern Sedge Frogs (Litoria fallax) - however I have not seen pics where they are the this yellow colour.

Hi,

You frogs look like Graceful Tree Frogs (Litoria gracilenta). Metamorphs have a yellow appearance and develop the green colouration of the adults as they grow.
