froglets in Manly Dam area

Postby vanessal » Sat Oct 25, 2014 8:11 am

Hello and thanks for your help in advance!

a few weeks ago I found tadpoles in a puddle on a fire trail in the Manly Dam area. I now have hundred of tadpoles in different stages of development, some completely metamorphosed (is that the word?) and others still with only new back legs.

The baby frogs vary from dark brown to mottled brown and are tiny, the size of my pinky fingernail.

I can try and upload a photo but in the mean time any idea what they are?

thank you again,
