Tadpole ID South Brisbane please

Postby Melqld111 » Sat Oct 18, 2014 9:55 am

Hello, saved these guys from a drying up fishpond in front of our house. We have previously seen cane toads, green tree frogs and little brown frogs around here. Was initially thinking these were toads due to how black and tiny they were but the tadpoles we put in a little tank and fed lettuce inside grew to about 5-6cm with very long tails and are a browny colour. Same tadpoles outside in the pond we set up plus inside ones. Any help would be fantastic.

Edit: Added images sorry they were too big the first time.
