Frog at Thursday Island.

Postby kiungaman » Mon Nov 21, 2016 9:51 pm

My son found this frog in our garden here at Thursday Island. I've look at what frogs are in Far North Queensland , but can't find one that looks like this one with the same markings. Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Graham

Thats a nice find. It's an Ornate Burrowing Frog (Platyplectrum ornatum) which can vary remarkably in colour and pattern.
