Are they Boy or Girl Perons?????

well when its summer the males will develop nuptual padson the inner side of the thumbs but ic ant see any.

The second one is male the first one is about 50-50, you will need to wait until summer to find out.

Its a black pad or spikes that grow on the hand during breeding season.

There's a good photo of a nuptial pad on this thread. Look at the black spot on the inside of the thumb on the right hand.

SO off season the pads disappear?
What is the purpose of these pads and do all frogs get these?

I believe the males get them in breeding season to aid in "gripping" or holding on to the female.

Yes the grow them in the breeding season and they are used to grip females.

thanks for the Info...will keep an eye out.

So far no spurs on my guys as yet. Here's a recent photo of them both.

Much happier now they have bigger living arrangements.
