Anakie Gorge frog calls

Postby Paul_J » Sun Jul 01, 2007 8:03 pm

Hi,

I recorded these calls at Anakie Gorge, in the Brisbane Ranges National Park today. I've had a look at the recordings of the frogs that are found in the area and can't find a match. The recording is clipped, but hopefully still good enough for id purposes.

thanks
Paul

Louder calls in the foreground sound like Southern Brown Tree Frogs (Litoria ewingi) struggling to break out into their full repertoire.

Background calls belong to Common Froglets (Crinia signifera).

Cheers,
David.
