identify this frog please

Need some help to identify a frog (or tadpole or egg mass)? Sounds like a job for the collective minds of the Community. Photographs and/or recordings are greatly appreciated. Results guaranteed (All money cheerfully refunded).

identify this frog please

my girls found this little frog in the engine bay cover on my generator on the farm, we get lots of little tiny frogs or the big green ones but i can't recall seeing one like this that is big? we are in nsw hunter area near singleton

cannot load picture ,, i have downsized it to be only 389KB but the system keeps telling me its too big, sorry .


we have (they have) done the picture in segments , hopefully it will give you an idea

Sorry not sure why the email isn't working, did you replace the [at] with an @?

Nevertheless the pictures have appeared in the original thread, I think your frog looks like a Peron's Tree Frog (Litoria peroni). The yellow marbling in the legs and the blotchy dorsal colour is characteristic of this species. Not to mention they are very common in the Hunter farmlands!

thanks Aaron, you see lots of little frogs similar to this ,brown grey colours, this one was just way bigger ,, thanks for your reply
