Gravid frog question

Postby Mr Ribbit » Fri Dec 21, 2007 8:43 pm

Hi, i have 6 redeyes about 1 year old.
1 of my females is very bloated, its stomach is big flabby and bulging.
I havn't seen them mate but i only see them for a few hours each day.
She's not moving much and has started sitting in the water,do you think this is a sign she is going to lay eggs. :?:

Can you post a photo of the frog? Often you will be able to see eggs through the frogs skin on their sides.

Yeah it's difficult to tell, but I can't see any eggs. I think 1 year old may still be too young to produce eggs, but I'm not sure.
