Any good field Guides for NT, WA?

Do you have a question about anatomy, life cycle, taxonomy, or anything else that isn't covered by the other frogs.org.au projects? Ask them here (or provide an answer to other people's questions).

Any good field Guides for NT, WA?

Postby Greg, Adelaide » Fri Nov 05, 2004 1:25 pm

Hi I was wondering if anyone had come across any really comprehensive field guides for frogs found in the North of SA, Northern Territory or WA.

Ive been using Martyn Robinson's "A Field Guide to Frogs of Australia", which I must say, Ive found to be be absolutely fantastic, but Ive run out of the ranges of frogs that it covers. (South East of the line from Port Augusta to Fraser Island)

Id also be interested in any really comprehensive reference for Frogs of Australia.

Can anyone give me some pointers/opinions/reviews?

thanks heaps in advance

At Half price?
One word leaps to mind.

'bastard'
:D

Hey I wonder if that was the exact same one i ordered in to the Angus + Robertsons Adelaide store?
I can picture the conversation at the Sydney superstore:"No it was going to one of the cold places.. down south.. adelaide, christchurch or hobart or somewhere"

I think the Barr Smith Library have the Tyler/Davies NT one. Its just a booklet if i remember rightly.

Hey if i put you in my will to inherit all my frog books will you will the WA Frog Guide to me?
