Native fish for Canberra pond?

Postby Tortoise » Mon Sep 23, 2013 9:54 pm

So, I've read lots about the various native fish suggested but I'm in lovely Canberra where it gets cold. Very cold. Like ice on the water cold. This means that most of the species won't survive the winter. Does anyone have any suggestions for frog and Canberra friendly native fish?

You could try mountain galaxias Galaxias olidus. Not sure how easy they would be to acquire, however.
