Is Potash harmful to frogs?

Postby Kerin » Tue Apr 09, 2013 4:05 pm

Would anyone be able to tell me if potash is harmful to frogs?
I have raised water well pots, (they are raised to stop toads from breeding in them) and I have a healthy frog population in them. I have just been dosing the my ground plants with Searles liquid potash (1 cap in ten litre bucket of water) and would like to add it to my potted plants as well but need to know that it wont hurt the frogs first. I have looked online but cannot find anything that tells me.
