Peroni's tree frog

Postby Brett » Fri May 29, 2015 3:49 pm

I have found a Peroni's tree frog in an unusual place both in area and location. Firstly in Lilydale in outer suburban Melbourne this seems to be well outside its normal range. Secondly it was in the eaves of a home under the tiles is this strange or am I just lucky? [/b]

Hi Brett, Peron's tree frogs are known to occur around Melbourne, and it is certainly not unusual for them to be found around buildings- I'd venture so far as to say they are one of the most "domesticated" frog species. Nonetheless, it is always good to discover them!
