Help identifying a SE Qld frog

Postby GerryM » Tue Mar 24, 2015 8:25 pm

Hi,
I've seen two of these frogs now around the Glass House Mountains area SE Qld. Thought it might be a smooth toadlet however the green speckles over the body were very vivid on both (juvenile?). So I'm none too sure. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

Hi Gerry,

Your frog looks like a Peron's Tree Frog (Litoria peroni). Those green flecks are often characteristic of this species.
