help identifying small frog

Postby Anthony9 » Mon Dec 22, 2014 2:33 pm

Hello,
I found this little frog in the garden and was wondering if anyone here knew what species it was? Or if you could point me in the right direction.
It was found in Panton Hill Victoria. We have lots of frogs around here but I have never seen any this small.

Being so small it was tricky to take a close up photo.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Anthony

Hi Anthony,

It is a very small frog and difficult to be very certain but I think it is likely to be a Common Eastern Froglet (Crinia signifera).
